The CIGA Design Eastern Jade Skeleton Automatic is a 43 mm cushion-case watch with a skeletonised dial, automatic movement and full ceramic bracelet.
Case & crystal
The 43 mm cushion case is machined from ceramic, a material prized for its scratch resistance and light weight. At 13 mm thick, the profile is substantial yet comfortable. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, offering superior clarity and hardness against everyday wear. The ceramic construction extends to the bracelet, creating a unified aesthetic from lug to clasp.
Dial
The skeletonised dial exposes the architecture of the movement beneath, revealing bridges, wheels and the oscillating balance. Luminescent hands sweep over the open-worked surface, ensuring legibility in low light while maintaining the technical character of the design.
Movement
Inside, the automatic calibre CD-01 winds itself through wrist motion and delivers a 40-hour power reserve. The self-winding mechanism eliminates the need for battery changes, and the movement's visible components add mechanical interest to every glance at the dial.
Bracelet & fit
The ceramic bracelet matches the case material, offering a seamless transition from lugs to wrist. Ceramic links are lighter than steel yet harder, resisting scratches and maintaining their finish over time. The bracelet secures with a deployant clasp.

Warranty
Supplied with the 2-year CIGA Design warranty, valid when purchased from an authorised retailer and registered at purchase through Cassims & Co. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, batteries, straps, glass, or damage from misuse or water ingress through an unscrewed crown.
Our watch service centre in Johannesburg handles warranty work, batteries, bracelet sizing and servicing.
Care guide
- Wipe the ceramic case and bracelet with a soft, lint-free cloth after wear to remove oils and moisture.
- Avoid exposing the watch to impacts or dropping it; ceramic is scratch-resistant but can chip or fracture under sharp force.
- Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, which can affect the accuracy of the automatic movement.
- If the watch stops, wind it gently by hand using the crown or wear it for several hours to allow the rotor to wind the mainspring.
- Do not operate the crown or any pushers while the watch is wet or submerged, even within its water-resistance rating.
- Have the movement serviced every three to five years by a qualified watchmaker to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
